NEWARK, NEW JERSEY – September 13, 2022 – GRAMMY Museum Experience™ Prudential Center announced today the RECORD HIGH program, a robust, cutting edge, contemporary music education program designed to prepare high school students for a career in the music industry both on and off the stage. Students have the unique opportunity to learn from world class professionals and interact with GRAMMY® Award winners and music industry executives. After-school classes are available in the spring and fall sessions, in addition to a week-long immersive camp experience in the summer. Select courses include; contemporary songwriting, Hip-Hop performance, vocal performance, audio production, and music business, in addition to exclusive mentorship and internship opportunities for aspiring artists and future music industry moguls.
In celebration of its inaugural year, RECORD HIGH is proud to partner with the Devils Youth Foundation (DYF) for the launch of its annual scholarship program. Individual awards of $1,000 will be given to twelve high school seniors from New Jersey who demonstrate notable talent in music and leadership roles within their local communities. Teachers or music professionals with firsthand knowledge of the student’s abilities will submit applicants for consideration.
The Devils Youth Foundation continues its commitment of bringing life-changing opportunities to New Jersey’s youth through the power of sports and entertainment and by virtue of the support of its marquee brands, the New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center, and the GRAMMY Museum Experience. This year alone, DYF will support over 12,000 youth in the Greater Newark Area.

In addition to the $1,000 scholarship, each student will be invited to attend a mutually agreed upon event at Prudential Center and participate in all RECORD HIGH after-school education programs for the balance of their senior year.
