Become a DYF Youth Ambassadors
The DYF Youth Ambassadors Program is made for high school students across New Jersey who are looking to be changemakers in their local communities!
Our vision is to empower high school students to become changemakers through service and leadership. We offer three pathways: Fundraising, Volunteering, or Both (Double-Up).
Students will gain hands-on experience in fundraising for nonprofits, understanding the importance of volunteerism, and advocating for community causes. Through these activities, students will develop a lifelong commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
We’re searching for high school students with a passion for service, leadership, and community engagement. Come join us and help make a difference in your local communities!

Three ways to get involved:
- Fundraising: With a goal of raising $1,000 and making a real impact, we’re here to show you the ropes and teach you the art of fundraising!
- Volunteer: We invite you to jump into action and make a difference in your community by dedicating 35+ volunteer hours in your community!
- Double Up: Can’t decide between fundraising and volunteering? No problem! You can do both, with a $500 fundraising goal and 25-hour volunteer requirement.

Program Duration
2026-2027 NHL Regular Season
In addition to the volunteer time students may choose to commit, all DYF Youth Ambassadors will have the opportunity to engage with Sports Industry Leaders through virtual sessions during the NJ Devils season, as well as participate in in-person events and opportunities. This could add additional hours per week.
Devils Youth Foundation Mission
The mission of the Devils Youth Foundation is to champion, advance, and support equitable and inclusive access to life-changing experiences for youth in New Jersey by leveraging the power of sports, entertainment, and music.

Program Impact
During the 2025-2026 NHL season the Devils Youth Foundation Youth Ambassadors raised $18,966 to support the Devils Youth Foundation and volunteered 1,846 hours for our community partners and countless non-profits throughout the state of New Jersey.
